About The Position
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for a full-time regular position at the Arcola Health Centre in the General Medical Nursing Unit. The SHA is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing over 45,000 staff, and is dedicated to providing coordinated, quality, seamless, safe, and patient-centred services. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, with active participation in a model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology, and patient family-centered care. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the organizational mission, vision, and values by delivering safe, quality nursing care to clients. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing or Nursing diploma or Psychiatric Nursing diploma
- Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
- Ability to make decisions
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Responsibilities
