About The Position

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse Registered Psych Nurse for the General Surgical Nursing Unit at Battlefords Union Hospital. This is a full-time temporary position with an expected start date of May 04, 2026, and an expected end date of September 01, 2027. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, actively participating in a model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology, and patient family centered care. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the organizational mission, vision, and values by providing safe, quality nursing care to clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Nursing diploma.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) - Heart and Stroke certification.
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
  • Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) with a vulnerable sector search, dated within six (6) months, required for interview.
