About The Position

Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. This role is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit and requires strong Med Surg experience. The shift detail is three 12-hour shifts per week, from 9:00 am to 9:30 pm.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) required within three (3) years of hire date.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one (1) year of hire.
Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
Strong Med Surg experience.
FL Registered Nurse License.
Basic Life Support/CPR (BLS).
