About The Position

The Registered Nurse - Radiology provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. This role supports a wide range of services, including stress testing, biopsies, conscious sedation, and image-guided procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, obtaining specimens and laboratory tests, accessing ports, monitoring cardiac devices such as pacemakers, and ensuring patient safety throughout the care continuum. The Radiology RN works collaboratively with radiologic technologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members across multiple imaging modalities, including CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, etc. to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of RN experience
• Associates of Nursing (ASN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
