About The Position

Lead patient advocacy and clinical care during advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patients feel safe, informed, and physically supported throughout their entire diagnostic journey. Manage and administer conscious sedation and medications with precise accuracy, continuously monitoring patient vital signs to guarantee safety and comfort during complex radiology interventions. Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists and technologists to streamline procedural workflows, allowing for efficient, high-quality imaging and reduced wait times for patients. Evaluate and prepare patients pre-procedure, conducting critical clinical assessments and reviewing medical histories to mitigate risks and ensure readiness for imaging. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and recovery guidelines, empowering them with clear, jargon-free instructions for a safe transition home.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
