Registered Nurse - Radiology
About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse position in the Radiology department. The shift is 5x8, from 0730 to 1600, with call required every other week from 5 PM to 10 PM. The role requires floating and weekend work, with one weekend every 12 weeks, subject to change based on need. The medication system used is Pyxis. Patients may have diagnoses including Diabetes, Cancer, PVD, Carotid stenosis, Hemorrhage, Aneurysm, and ESRD. Special procedures and unit details include moderate sedation, and prep and recovery of patients for IR, Neuroendovascular, and Diagnostic procedures, as well as PACU recovery for CT, MRI, and US.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of EPIC experience.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Must not be a first-time traveler.
Responsibilities
- Administer moderate sedation.
- Prepare and recover patients for IR, Neuroendovascular, and Diagnostic procedures.
- Provide PACU recovery for CT, MRI, and US procedures.
- Respond to weekday call every other week from 5 PM to 10 PM.
- Float as required.
- Work weekends, approximately one weekend every 12 weeks, or as needed.
