About The Position

CoxHealth South is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 300 W Pulmonary unit, a fast-paced, dynamic medical-surgical unit specializing in Respiratory, Telemetry, and Vascular Surgery patients. This unit provides care to a complex patient population requiring telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, and advanced respiratory support. It is an ideal environment for nurses looking to enhance critical thinking, master nursing techniques, and deliver patient-centered care within a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere. The unit offers opportunities for professional growth, including Med-Surg Certification, participation in the Star Clinical Ladder, and precepting new nurses. The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing patient care, assessing conditions, administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, maintaining records, and providing patient and family education. A broad knowledge of medical care is essential for this role.

Requirements

RN license active in the state of Missouri
Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
