About The Position
This is a 12-week contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatric care in Evanston, Illinois. The role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric nursing care, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with the healthcare team, and documenting patient information using the EPIC charting system. The shift is 8 hours, evenings from 3 PM to 11:30 PM.
Requirements
- 2+ Years Behavioral Health Experience in an Acute Care setting
- EPIC charting experience
- Travel experience
- Must have an active CPI blue card
- Active IL RN License
- BLS certification
- CPI certification
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately using EPIC charting system
