About The Position

PCU/Stepdown RN assignment for a 13-week contract working night shift, three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). The RN will provide progressive care nursing for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized cardiac and medical-surgical care in a PCU/Stepdown environment. Every other holiday required. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting and maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical care.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months recent PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Minimum 18 months permanent PCU/Stepdown experience prior to travel required
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required at submission
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• Active AHA ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification preferred/required per facility compliance
• 1 supervisor/manager reference required at submission
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate testing during orientation
• 2 attempts maximum allowed for orientation testing
• No pending certifications accepted
• Must comply with nicotine-free facility policy if applicable
• All RTO must be submitted at time of submission

Nice To Haves

• Active NIHSS certification preferred
