About The Position
We are currently searching for an experienced Registered Nurse to work PRN in our Monday-Friday schedule. 10 hour shifts, looking for 2-8 shifts per month. Fast-paced endoscopy center looking for a self-motivated, team-oriented nurse to complement our hardworking, dedicated staff. Looking for someone who can work cooperatively with staff, physicians, and patients and perform a variety of tasks.
Requirements
- demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills
- be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse
- maintain ACLS certification
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- preparing patients for procedures
- assisting physicians during procedures
- providing care for patients in recovery
- actively participate in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities
- be willing to assume other responsibilities that contribute to the effective running of the center
