We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse - RN to join us. Registered Nurse – Selden, NY Part-Time– On-Site - After School Care Covering -1.25 hours per day, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hourly rates between $48-52/hour This is a W-2 position with comprehensive part-time benefits that stay active through the whole year, not just when school is in session! Requirements

  • Nursing license in the state of residence/state of placement.
  • Must hold a current license to practice in the state of NY
  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development

Responsibilities

  • Consult and collaborate with school staff and families in regards to students’ health and wellness.
  • Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP.
  • Communicate student medical status and concerns effectively to school staff and families.
  • Review and implement plans of care as detailed by school nursing staff and phsyicians.
  • Maintain all documentation required by the district including, but not limited to, vital signs, medication administration, daily notes, and any other documentation related to student medical status.
