About The Position
This is a PRN (as needed) Registered Nurse position specializing in Wound Care at Trios Health. The role involves delivering specialized, patient-centered care to promote healing and improve the quality of life for patients with complex wound care needs across all age groups. The nurse will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's degree or Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS, ACLS required
- 1 year of experience required
Responsibilities
- Provide wound care using established clinical guidelines and best practices
- Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, including pain management
- Work closely with physicians and care teams during treatments and procedures
- Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention
- Participate in care planning and team discussions to improve patient outcomes
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe care environment
