About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse PRN for the Perioperative Evaluation Clinic (VPEC) in Nashville, Tennessee. This position is PRN (As Needed), typically working 2-3 days per week. The role requires collaboration in care planning, coordination, and implementation, anticipating patient needs across the continuum. It involves analyzing patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and utilizing the nursing process to evaluate progress and apply interventions. The nurse will also employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Additional duties may be assigned.

Relevant Work Experience

Responsibilities

Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.

Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
