As a Per Diem Perioperative Registered Nurse at a state-of-the-art surgical center in Gilbert, you will be at the forefront of team delivery of care, making a real difference in patients' lives every day. As a scrub nurse, you'll work closely with surgeons, ensuring they have the necessary instruments and supplies. As a circulating nurse, you'll oversee overall nursing care in the operating room, creating a safe and comfortable environment for both patients and staff. Your commitment to excellence and safety will be evident as you educate patients on recovery best practices and maintain a sterile environment through meticulous cleaning procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN)
  • State-approved Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • 3-5 years of experience as a nurse providing perioperative care
  • Exceptional knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
  • Exceptional knowledge of sterile techniques
  • Proficiency in recordkeeping and patient management systems
  • Advanced proficiency in developing and implementing perioperative nursing care plans
  • Ability to collaborate with surgical teams and healthcare specialists
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in healthcare
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as an Operating Room Nurse (CNOR)

Responsibilities
