About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, opening February 2025, is seeking a Registered Nurse PRN Days to join their team. This role will involve working in a new, state-of-the-art hospital featuring 60 private patient rooms and two advanced therapy gyms. The position focuses on providing direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, developing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and staff, communicating patient status changes, and participating in discharge planning.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participates in discharge planning process.
