About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, opening February 2025, is seeking a Registered Nurse PRN Days to join their team. This role will be based in a new, state-of-the-art hospital featuring 60 private patient rooms and two advanced rehab therapy gyms. The position involves providing direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, developing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and staff, communicating patient condition changes, and participating in discharge planning.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participates in discharge planning process.
