About The Position

St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Pre/Post/PACU unit. This role is responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The position will be trained in all areas of perioperative care, including Pre-Op, Post-Op, PACU, and Endoscopy procedures. The surgical services team is committed to providing quality surgical and diagnostic/therapeutic care to inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory pediatric through geriatric patients.

Requirements

Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN)
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice

Nice To Haves

1+ years of Pre Op, Post/Op- PACU or Endo experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluating patients
Assisting physicians with patient care
Planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient’s needs
Providing quality surgical and diagnostic/therapeutic care to inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory pediatric through geriatric patients
