About The Position

Wills Eye Hospital is hiring a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse in Cherry Hill, NJ at the Wills Eye Surgery Center - Cherry Hill, NJ. In this role, you’ll provide safe, patient-centered nursing care, apply clinical judgment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes. This is a Full-Time 40 hours per week opportunity for someone who wants to provide high-quality care while growing their clinical skills in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Requirements

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania required.
One year of clinical experience is required.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent preferred.
Three years of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Possesses knowledge of and the ability to perform duties in accordance with established standards for all Nursing practices as set forth in the Hospital policies.
Keeps proficient and is knowledgeable of patient’s needs, techniques, and requirements at all times.
Assesses the learning needs of patients/significant other(s), and has knowledge of normal growth and development stages.
Cares for specimens and cultures in accordance with Hospital policies and best practices.
Possesses knowledge of anesthetic agents, techniques, actions and interactions to include patients of all ages.
Manage patient care activities, clinical assessments, treatments, coordination of services, and contribute to a positive patient experience.
