About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Anesthesia Surgery Screening (PASS) team. This is a part-time position 3 days a week. The primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients. Requirements

Associates Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
Virginia RN License Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible.
All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire

Nice To Haves

PASS experience preferred
Alternatively, operating room or pre-op nursing experience
Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
