About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Anesthesia Surgery Screening (PASS) team. This is a part-time position 3 days a week. Hours: 0730-400 Monday-Friday No Nights, Weekends, or Holiday. As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Requirements

Associates Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing
Virginia RN License Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible
BLS within 90 days of hire
ACLS within 1 year of hire (for Critical Care/IMCU)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN
PASS experience preferred
Operating room or pre-op nursing experience
