About The Position
Saint Luke's North Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Postpartum / Newborn Care team. This full-time, 36-hour night position offers opportunities for continuing education. The Registered Nurse functions independently and is accountable for utilizing the nursing process, coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team, and delegating tasks appropriately. The role also involves identifying hospital resources, serving as a clinical resource for new employees, and demonstrating positive leadership within the unit or department.
Requirements
- 1 year Applicable Experience
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Registered Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree - Nursing
Responsibilities
- Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Delegates tasks appropriately.
- Identifies hospital resources.
- Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
- Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
