About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Post-Surgical Unit. This role involves planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for post-surgical patients to meet accepted standards of care. The RN ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintaining compliance with professional nursing standards, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. The position also includes providing Medical Screening Exams as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee for patients presenting with a healthcare need.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Texas RN License.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- Telemetry experience required.
- At least one (1) year of experience as an RN in a hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and implement all nursing care services for post-surgical patients.
- Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care.
- Maintain compliance with professional nursing, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care.
- Respond to patients presenting to the facility with a healthcare need.
- Provide the Medical Screening Exam as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.
