About The Position

In the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the St. Cloud Hospital, you will work with patients of all ages before and after surgeries. RNs may work in the pre-op area ensuring a patient is prepped for surgery and safe to go to the operating room. After surgery, the RN will work with surgeons and anesthesiologists as the patient wakes up to ensure they are stable before being discharged or brought back to their hospital room. In this fast-paced environment you will need to think on your feet along with being flexible and adaptable.

Requirements

Graduate from a nursing program and current RN licensure in MN required
BSN required within three years of hire
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 12 months of hire

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in ICU, CCU, or PACU settings preferred
Critical care experience in Hemodynamic monitoring and Basic EKG interpretation preferred
