About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unity (PACU)) working at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C. This role requires a highly organized, self-directed worker capable of functioning effectively in a high-volume environment without distractions. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a strong technical aptitude. The position is Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day, with no nights or weekends.

Requirements

• Associates Degree of Nursing
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (Any State)
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a clinical nurse in the medical/surgical or critical care inpatient setting.
• Experience with newborn to geriatric population.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in post anesthesia/sedation.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Function in a high-volume environment without distractions.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications and possess strong technical aptitude.
