In September, 2026, UF Health will open UF Health Durbin Park Hospital, a transformative new health care destination in St. Johns County, Florida. Rising five stories and spanning approximately 220,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art hospital will feature 99 inpatient beds designed for comfort, innovation and exceptional outcomes. In addition, UF Health Durbin Park Hospital will feature a 24-hour Emergency Department. Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• BSN within 3 years of hire
• Licensed RN in the State of Florida
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• 1-2 years of related OR experience.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of relevant perioperative nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients in select phases of Perioperative care (as competency demonstrates).
• Utilizes the nursing process and the standards of care of a professional nurse.
• Performs all staff nurse activities and functions as charge nurse when assigned.
• Maintains overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients, even though some activities/ tasks may be delegated to Surgical Technologists, Patient Care Associated, Guest Associates and Anesthesia Technologists.
• Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
