The Perioperative Supervisor provides day-to-day clinical, operational, and personnel leadership for Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology (IR), and Pre-Anesthesia Testing (PAT). Reporting to the Senior Manager of Perioperative Services, the Supervisor translates departmental goals into reliable daily practice, coordinates staffing and workflow, and maintains a visible leadership presence across assigned areas. The role is accountable for safe procedural operations, timely pre-procedure assessment and readiness, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, staff performance, and prompt resolution of operational concerns. This leader serves as the direct link among frontline staff, gastroenterologists, interventional radiologists, anesthesia professionals, APPs, diagnostic and support departments, and perioperative leadership. The Supervisor promotes a high-reliability culture, evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and shared accountability for patient safety, employee engagement, service excellence, and continuous improvement. The Supervisor may provide hands-on clinical support within the scope of licensure and demonstrated competency and acts on behalf of department leadership when delegated.
