Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- One (1) year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience required.
- Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing the highest quality nursing care and service excellence in the continuum of care.
- Works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
- Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
- Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures and participation in Performance Improvement activities, department meetings and in-services.
- Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
