About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate and experienced nurses to join their team and collaborate with top medical professionals. This role is on the Pediatrics unit, located within the Women Services Center, adjacent to the Postpartum unit. The unit has 6-10 beds and serves a patient population of children and some adults, with acuity levels ranging from low to high for children and typically low for adults. IU Health emphasizes professional growth, learning, and providing the highest level of patient care within a supportive culture.

Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
