About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Oncology at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX. The position is full-time and involves night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for BSN-Led Care Coordination, utilizing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing to lead multidisciplinary teams and execute complex care plans. They will also focus on Clinical Excellence & Versatility, executing physician orders and monitoring patients, with the ability to support high-acuity environments like Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Additionally, the role involves Strategic Discharge Planning, partnering with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient transitions, education, and continuity of care.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Certification specializing in Chemotherapy preferred.

Responsibilities
