About The Position
Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Oncology at Bethesda, MD. This is a great full-time opportunity, 40 hours work week schedule, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited university; or diploma graduate in Nursing from an accredited university or associate degree in Nursing from an accredited university.
- Successfully passed National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience within the preceding 3 years in designated specialty (Stem Cell Transplant/Oncology).
- Valid license in at least 1 state, territory or commonwealth of the US.
Nice To Haves
- Other certifications if required by the client.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in Stem Cell Transplant/Oncology.
- Administer patient care according to physician's orders, established protocols, and nursing standards.
- Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care.
