About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Pediatric General Medical/Surgical to join our NEWEST unit at the American Family Children’s Hospital! Nurses on this 9-bed unit will care for children from infancy through adolescence. Care for patients who have a wide variety of complex medical and surgical problems, including: General Surgery, Trauma Surgery, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Orthopedics, other surgical specialties and medical observation (OBS).

Requirements

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.
