About The Position

Join our NEWEST unit at the American Family Children’s Hospital! Nurses on this 9-bed unit will care for children from infancy through adolescence. Care for patients who have a wide variety of complex medical and surgical problems, including: General Surgery, Trauma Surgery, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Orthopedics, other surgical specialties and medical observation (OBS).

Requirements

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact
Current CPR/BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.
Relevant RN Experience
Relevant Certification
