About The Position
This role involves providing attentive, high-quality nursing care in a Pediatric Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse will implement personalized care plans, closely monitor patient conditions, and communicate any changes. They will also act as a central point of contact for medical teams, coordinating care and planning for safe patient discharge.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, high-quality nursing care following established healthcare standards and physician orders.
- Implement personalized care plans.
- Closely track and communicate changes in patient conditions.
- Act as the central point of contact across different medical teams to keep patient treatment smooth and well-organized.
