About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Department (ED) at Dell Children's Center North in Austin, TX. The position is part-time, working nights. The nurse will deliver patient-centered care by executing established healthcare protocols, managing care plans, and precisely documenting patient conditions. They will also coordinate interdisciplinary communication to ensure seamless collaboration among healthcare team members and facilitate well-managed patient care. Additionally, the nurse will review and execute physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner, and evaluate and coordinate patient discharge needs proactively in partnership with the broader care team.

Requirements

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transferdate required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
