About The Position
Crittenton Children's Center is the Kansas City area's premier provider of psychiatric care for children, adolescents and their families. Located on a 96-acre campus in south Kansas City, it offers a serene environment to aid the healing process. With over 100 years of experience, the center provides comprehensive behavioral health care programs for children and families, backed by the resources of Saint Luke's Health System. This role is for a part-time day shift RN to support the facility.
Requirements
- Associate's degree
- 1 - 2 years of related experience, preferably in mental health
- Must be team oriented
- Mandt Certified - Various
- Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Delegates tasks appropriately.
- Identifies hospital resources.
- Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
- Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
