About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Acute Care at Dell Children's Center North in Austin, TX. The position is full-time, with a day schedule. The nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, direct patient care, accurately executing medical orders, and adhering to hospital safety guidelines. Key responsibilities include maintaining thorough documentation of patient conditions, promptly alerting the medical team to any status updates, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams such as physicians, therapists, and specialists to manage treatment plans and prepare patients for discharge.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
