About The Position
3 West is a 30 bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care department with a primary focus on caring for medical neurological patients. A Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department CCMD provides monitoring surveillance for the patients. Staff is scheduled for 6-Week periods via a self-assisted scheduled through Optilink.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- Neuro PCU experience required.
- BLS required.
- ACLS required.
- NIH required.
- Awareness of the Pass Fail EKG exam.
- Awareness of the client's zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
- Flexibility with scheduling.
- Ability to complete compliance on time.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred.
- Experience with External CPAP/BiPAP.
- Experience with TR band.
- Experience with Yale Swallowing screen.
Responsibilities
- Float required as needed across all Cone Health facilities.
- Provide care for medical neurological patients.
- Utilize Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD) for monitoring surveillance.
- Adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
- Complete compliance requirements by the deadline (12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date).
- Pass the EKG exam required for all RNs.
