Registered Nurse - PACU -PRN
About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Munson Healthcare. The position involves providing pre and post-anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients. The multidisciplinary teams include experienced and new graduate RNs, providers, clinicians, and support staff who offer teamwork and support. The unit handles 60-70 cases per day, encompassing both outpatient and inpatient surgeries. A 12-month PACU Residency Program is available, and the organization is committed to growth and development through numerous educational offerings, leadership development, simulation education, and tuition reimbursement.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
- BCLS, and ACLS, required upon hire
- PALS within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for adult surgical patients within the last 3 years preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides and pre and post anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients
- Works collaboratively with anesthesia providers
- Perform outpatient and inpatient surgeries, 60-70 cases/day
