About The Position
The Registered Nurse - PACU position is located at The Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. This role involves working in the PreOp/PACU unit with rotating day shifts (5a-5:30p and 8a-8:30p). Call is included, with requirements for every third-fourth weekend. The patient ratio is 1:1. The unit specializes in procedures such as CABG, AAA repair, TAVR, EVAR, Fem-Pop/Fem-Tib-Peroneal Bypass, Angiogram, Pulmonary decortication, and Ablation.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience required
- Pre/Post experience required
- Epic experience required
- BLS (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Level 1 trauma/Outpatient experience (Preferred)
- PACU experience (Preferred)
- ACLS (Preferred)
- Previous Charge Experience (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the PreOp/PACU unit.
- Rotate between closer and opener shifts.
- Participate in on-call duties, including every third-fourth weekend.
- Manage patient care with a 1:1 ratio.
