About The Position

St Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid Atlantic is looking for a full-time RN to work in our post anesthesia recovery room! This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, on the day shift. The staff RN is a registered professional nurse who assumes responsibility for patient care during the immediate postoperative period. He/she provides direct patient care involving knowledge of and the ability to use the nursing process in assessing, diagnosing, planning and evaluating patient needs to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current license in the State of Delaware
• 6 – 12 months experience in PACU or critical care
• BCLS Certification
• ACLS Certification

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a critical care setting
• Completion of a Critical Care Program
• PALS Certification within six months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for patient care during the immediate postoperative period.
• Provides direct patient care involving knowledge of and the ability to use the nursing process in assessing, diagnosing, planning and evaluating patient needs to ensure positive patient outcomes.
