About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the PACU department at Texas Health HEB in Bedford, Texas, with rotating shifts and required call. Texas Health HEB is a 252-bed, acute-care, full-service hospital serving the DFW mid-cities area since 1973. It specializes in women’s services, perioperative services, heart and vascular care, acute care/med surg, intermediate care/step-down, oncology, and emergency medicine, including nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, respiratory therapy, and neuroscience care (neurosurgery and stroke). The hospital is ANCC Magnet Designated, Joint Commission-certified in Chest Pain (PHAC), a Primary Stroke Center, a Level III Trauma Center, Level II NICU, and Level III for maternal care. Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • 1 year PACU or Critical Care experience preferred
