About The Position
We are seeking an RN for our Allergy clinic in Indianapolis, IN, specializing in allergy testing, food challenges, biologic therapy, and immunotherapy. Responsibilities include patient rooming, allergy testing, food challenges, treatment administration, phone triage support, prior authorizations, and coordination with external pharmacies. This hybrid role is primarily located at 575 Riley Hospital Drive in Indianapolis, with occasional coverage at our IU North clinic in Carmel.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Associates of Nursing (ASN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may apply with >2 years experience, subject to CNO approval)
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN)
- Prior authorization experience
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
- Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
