This nursing position plays a key role in supporting our Vascular Surgery service line at IU Health Methodist, while also contributing to coordinated care across multiple IU Health locations throughout Indiana. Our team provides comprehensive perioperative and clinical support for patients undergoing a wide range of vascular procedures, working closely with surgeons, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary partners to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Requirements

Minimum of one year of RN experience.
Associates of Nursing (ASN).
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may apply for candidates with more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO review and approval).
Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

Supporting our Vascular Surgery service line at IU Health Methodist.
Contributing to coordinated care across multiple IU Health locations throughout Indiana.
Providing comprehensive perioperative and clinical support for patients undergoing a wide range of vascular procedures.
Working closely with surgeons, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary partners to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Assessing patients without face-to-face interaction (may require).
Understanding the legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
