About The Position

The Ambulatory Clinical Nurse provides specialized nursing support and care coordination for pediatric cardiology patients in an outpatient setting. This position is responsible for managing patient care through telephone triage, clinical communications, medication management, and coordination of services with providers, patients, and families. The role offers a collaborative work environment with opportunities for remote work following successful completion of training.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be made for candidates with over two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO approval)
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
