Registered Nurse Outpatient Oncology Infusion PRN
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for delivering specialized infusion and vascular access care. This role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients receiving infusion therapies. This position offers a predictable outpatient schedule with current clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no on-call requirements. PRN shifts are available as needed. Clinic hours are expected to transition to 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. within the next few months. The role is located at the Park City and Heber Valley Infusion Clinics.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
- Oncology, Infusion or Chemotherapy experience.
Responsibilities
- Delivering specialized infusion and vascular access care.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients receiving infusion therapies.
- Assessing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
- Partnering closely with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team throughout every phase of treatment.
- Using advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care.

- Managing symptoms.
- Supporting patients throughout their infusion journey.
- Collaborating with providers, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary partners to coordinate treatment plans.
- Prioritizing care.
- Delivering safe, timely infusion services in a dynamic outpatient setting.

- Evaluating patient outcomes.
- Adapting care plans as needs evolve.
