About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Outpatient Infusion Center. This is a part-time position with (9) hour shifts, typically from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, two days a week. There is a weekend rotation every 6-7 weeks and a holiday rotation for one day. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN also adheres to standards of professional performance such as ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. All Direct Care RNs are required to have BLS within 90 days of hire. Requirements

• RECENT Previous DIRECT patient care RN experience REQUIRED
• RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
• BLS within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Experience with central lines STRONGLY preferred
• RN Degree: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN
• Completion of BLS within 90 days of hire
