About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our Orthopedic Surgery team with a focus on foot and ankle, located at 1801 N. Senate Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46202. This is a full-time, onsite position. The RN will lead clinic operations and perform a variety of patient care duties, including rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing up injections, wound care, post-operative care, patient education, triaging messages, completing disability paperwork, surgery screening, care coordination, and discharge planning for post-surgical patients. Occasional travel to other sites will be required. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized podiatry setting, providing comprehensive care and support to patients.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of RN experience
Associates of Nursing (ASN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be made for candidates with more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO approval)
Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse

Nice To Haves

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN)
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction
