Registered Nurse - Outpatient Clinic Cardiology
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Cardiology Clinic. This role requires a strong background in cardiology, with specific skills in monitoring stress tests (Nuclear and Treadmill), assisting with vein ablations, medication management (including mixing and administering), IV initiation for procedures, and INR management. The nurse will also be responsible for managing a high volume of patient messages within EPIC and performing essential tasks such as EKG lead placement, EKG performance, blood pressure monitoring, and finger sticks for an Anti-Coag Clinic. This is an urgent backfill for a 13-week assignment with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (CA)
- 2 years of experience in an Outpatient Cardiology Clinic
- Experience reading arrhythmias in real time
- Proficiency in hooking up EKG Leads and performing EKGs
- Proficiency in applying BP cuffs and reading blood pressure
- Proficiency in performing finger sticks
- Willingness to learn Nuclear Medicine Stress Testing
- EPIC experience preferred
