About The Position

Join a dedicated team of professionals at Nebraska Surgery Center, where we provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care across a wide range of specialties. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed for clinical excellence in Orthopedics, GI, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Plastics, ENT, and more. As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be the cornerstone of patient safety and individualized care. You will oversee the surgical experience from start to finish—assessing patient needs, coordinating with surgeons, and ensuring a sterile, efficient environment. We are looking for a teammate who balances technical precision with a high standard of customer service.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Nebraska RN license (or Compact State license with intent to obtain NE licensure within 30 days).
Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Previous Operating Room experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care for surgical patients using established standards.
Assemble and manage all necessary supplies, instruments, drapes, and sutures for diverse procedures.
Act as a primary advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
Work seamlessly with physicians and staff to maintain a culture of kindness and accountability.
