About The Position

This position provides professional nursing care to all patient populations under the direct supervision of the physician(s) in the clinic. The role involves working with team members and providers to ensure efficient, quality patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care. For LPN applicants, the role involves assisting with patient care services as delegated or assigned, functioning within the scope of practice according to the Mississippi State Board of Nursing, and collaborating with all clinical staff, patients, and their families.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited state approved school of nursing (for RN).
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program or completion of requirements for licensure (for LPN).
• Current MS RN license or temporary permit for same (valid for 90 days only), or Compact license (for RN).
• Current MS license or temporary permit for same (for LPN).
• Standard nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to interpret physicians’ instructions.
• Use and operation of equipment and instruments used in patient care.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to educate patients.
